I may have early onset dementia, because now I’m giving RELATIONSHIP advice

The State is doing quite enough on its own to destroy the traditional family. Apparently, there is added punch from inside families themselves.

I recently read a Substack article that detailed the bad relationship advice women give each other online.

You should punish your man for his misbehavior. That sort of thing. The author concluded women tend to blow up men’s little offenses into big ones.

Years ago, a woman friend asked me how Laura and I had managed to stay together so many years.

Without thinking, my spontaneous answer was: We don’t like pain.

And that was true. We didn’t have a taste for going after each other and tearing things to shreds. That’s pain. We avoided it. It wasn’t on our calendar.

The other side of that coin is love. However you want to define it. You know what it is.

Prefer love over pain.
