It was the stuff that B-roll Hollywood sci-fi movies are made of, complete with sloppy, haphazardly put-together experiments and lab equipment, with a mix of genetically modified lab animals, chemicals, bacterial and viral soups sitting around that would have gotten any 1950s-era, monster movie fan crying foul.
The only thing is, although this was taking place in California, it wasn’t a Hollywood B-roll movie being played out, but a real-life, illegal Chinese lab running right under the CDC’s nose.
In the end, authorities found at least 20 deadly viruses or potentially infectious pathogens, in addition to COVID-19. Other pathogens found on-site included chlamydia, E. coli, streptococcus, Hepatitis B and C, human herpes, HIV (the virus that causes AIDS), rubella and malaria.
The only questions left to answer are: How did this happen and Is the location of this lab coincidence or purposeful?”
