Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin has tested positive for COVID for the third time in a year.

When he came down with mild symptoms and tested positive for the virus in March 2023, he told NBC Chicago 5 he was fully vaccinated and boosted.

He also had mild symptoms when he came down with it in July 2022. This time around, since he’s following the CDC’s quarantine recommendations, he’s going to miss what he described as “critical work on the Senate’s NDAA” while he recuperates.
